At Hope Now CRC, our mission is to provide community support services to those in need. We strive to create a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.
We have vetted great mentors from around the neighborhood to be apart of our community here at the center. There will be a process to ensure that we match you with the best mentor possible based on your background and aspirations. Once you have been matched, you can schedule a meeting with your mentor at the center.
Tutors will be available at the center for afterschool hours, 2:30 to 4:30, to help students with their understanding of the class material and assignments. You can schedule smaller group or individual session with subject tutors as well. You may also come just to have a quiet place to do homework, study, and use the computer.

We offer one-on-one counseling sessions with licensed therapists at the center and online. We have also partnered with other community organizations to collaborate with and refer you to if your needs fall out of the scope of our direct services.
There will also be group counseling sessions offered multiple times during the week in the evening. Every Wednesday we will hold grief counselling for all ages from 6-7 pm. Thursday sessions will be reserved Teen Talks Sessions. These sessions will be on a rotating schedule every week for different groups: all teens (1st), teen boys (2nd), teen girls (3rd), LGBTQ+ teens (4th). In the few months that have five Thursdays, we will announce the group focus for the whole week leading up to session, online and in the center.
Schedule a one-on-one appointment or reserve a spot here.
We offer many classes on various topics on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, from 4:30 to closing at 6. Anger Management, Conflict Resolution, Cultural Competency, Financial Literacy, and Life Skills are examples of courses we have coming up.
For a few scheduled Saturdays out of the month we will hold workshops focusing on wellness, new parents, and more specifically pregnant women and new mothers. We may also hold more fun classes like gardening or some type of arts & crafts.
Lastly, computer access will be available for GED training and testing.

This program prepares foster teens for the transition to independent living after their emancipation from the foster care system. We work to fill the gaps that prevent many people from feeling secure and succeeding on their own. Our hope is that the physical center and the people here help create a place where the participants can feel safe and supported, unlike in their many experiences with government institutions.
Multiple week long class that will teach the participants how to be financially independent, build important habits, and make decisions that will set them up for a successful financial future. This class will go over credit, real estate, and savings.
The class will teach the students about managing a home, conflict resolution, and general health and wellness objectives. Health and wellness will expand into topics of general nutrition and healthy eating, as well as substance abuse.
Through this program, the participants will have the opportunity to train for free with different community businesses in different industries to work toward steady employment within the field they choose. The length of the program will vary depending on the chosen profession.
We are providing temporary housing units to the program members to assist in the transition out of foster care or group homes. Participants will be placed in the same building and will have roommates to help create a system of support and accountability.
We are looking for 25 dedicated foster youth to participate in a 3 year Independent Living Preparation Program. It prepares the youth for their transition to independent living after their emancipation from the foster care system by providing the knowledge and resources to help participants succeed.
