We know there are certain challenges that seniors may face and we want to help. Scheduling doctors appointments, scheduling transportation, getting signed up for Medicare or Medicaid, and registering for SNAP benefits are all things that we offer to help senior in their day to day lives.

We offer group counseling, scheduled group walks, as well as healthy cooking, yoga, and breathing workshops to help our members strive for a healthy mind, body, and soul.

Technology has progressed a lot in a short time and it can be overwhelming to learn. We will help you get and stay updated on how to use your modern technology for whatever purposes you may need.

Friends, community, and, more generally, human interaction are important for maintaining a positive mindset, especially in an individuals older years. At Hope Now we understand this and are providing a space where seniors can come and socialize with their peers.

We want to celebrate with you! Book some time to celebrate your birthday at Hope Now with our members and staff.

I am so grateful that Hope Now Senior & Youth Resource Center offered a program where students assisted Seniors, face to face, with online applications. My computer skills were already so limited, and l my desktop computer was destroyed in the Eaton Fire. Using my phone now.
As a Senior, the thought of having to share my personal and financial information with a stranger, made me feel like I’d be exposed to possible scammers or fraud.
At Hope Now, I got to know and trust Sydney, the young person who assisted me, a graduating Senior from JMHS. She had excellent technical skills. She was kind, patient, calm, respectful and responsive to my need to have information and techniques repeated and reviewed many times.
She solved the task of locating my Marriage License, ordering the Certified Copies, paying for them with my Credit Card online. She printed out copies of everything for me to have hard copy records. I received the documents within 3days.
Young people don’t always have time for Seniors. Sydney actually set appointment time to work with me. She understood the urgency for me to get my Certified Marriage License, which was needed for both my Real ID and Passport.
Sydney didn’t make me feel ashamed for not having computer skills and I learned it was OK to be vulnerable with people at Hope Now Center who care and just want to help Seniors learn, grow and move forward.
So grateful for this service to the community and the friendships formed. Lovingly,
Betty
