At Hope Now Community Resource Center, we are committed to enhancing the lives of individuals in our community, especially our youth and seniors. Over the past year, we have focused on building strong relationships and providing essential support services that foster personal growth and community well-being.
Founded in August 2023, we are a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the greater Pasadena area, including Altadena, Monrovia, and Duarte. Our mission is to empower individuals—youth, adults, and seniors—by providing a variety of essential services that cater to their diverse needs.
Each month, we collaborate with two local high schools to provide students with vital tools for social and mental health. Our programs aim to:
Our partnership with Sisters Coming Together has been instrumental in connecting with seniors in our community. Through this collaboration, we focus on:
We are proud to offer:
We offer an array of services for youth 13-24 years old to create a plan towards success with the Hope Now support system by their side. This include case management, one-on-one mentoring, tutoring, after school homework sessions, teen talk times, skill building classes, and more. For more information, check out the Youth Services tab.
Hope Now CRC aims to have multigenerational services, including those for the senior population, 55+ years old. We provide a space where they can get out of the house and receive services for population-specific needs during our Senior Days. For more information, check out the Senior Services tab.
Along with the youth teen talk time group sessions, we provide other group sessions for adults. These include grief counselling, new parents workshops, and Power of Love workshops focusing on self love. We may also offer health/wellness and other more recreational workshops for all ages. For more information, check out the Community Resources tab.
Hope Now has worked hard to get certified to provide different opportunities for our members. We can currently provide Adult and Child First Aid/CPR/AED certification courses and GED preparation and Testing at the center. We also have some other certification programs in the works for the new year. For more information, check out the Certifications tab.
We are partnering with the City of Pasadena and other local organizations to provide resources and alternative options for youth that may be considering or are involved in gangs. We work with the youth and their families affected by gangs towards a different way of living. For more information, check out the Youth Services tab.
Hope Now has developed relationships with many local organizations and resources to help our members with any kind of need they may be experiencing through referrals. When there is a need that we do not service at our center, we are committed to finding another resource to assist our member. This includes mental health services, addiction/substance abuse services, housing services, etc.
